Responsibilities of Sales Representative – Communications and Data Networking
Prospect, network and maintain relationships with new and established customers for the purpose of driving sales for solutions/products in the com/data arena.
- Responsible for assigned annual gross margin budget by promoting, selling, negotiating and closing deals in communications solutions/products in assigned territory in compliance with the Company’s pricing policies.
- Consults daily with prospects and customers in person and at times off-site locations to understand their needs and how our company can assist in achieving their goals operationally and financially.
- Interface with internal team members such as customer service representatives, quotes and finance.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, and report potential claims.
- Keep management informed of deals and local competition and market conditions.
- Maintain current customer records, files, and reports of business transactions; assist in collection of past due accounts.
- Attend trade shows and sales meetings.
- Participate in continuous training sessions and lunch & learns to develop and increase industry knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:-
- 2+ years of experience in sales. Communications and data networking
- Collage/university graduated and Military service exempted/completed
- Sales, customer focused and results motivated professional with a can do attitude and a proven track record of success.
- Team player is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal & written).
- Highly proficient computer skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
